Dr. Dominic Bryant is an accomplished coral reef ecologist with over 15 years of experience in marine conservation. His career began with a passion for the ocean, sparked by a formative trip to the Maldives in 1997, which eventually led to his PhD research on the effects of human land use on coral reef distribution in the Central Indian Ocean.

Dominic has played a pivotal role in several high-impact conservation efforts, including leading expeditions for the XL Catlin Seaview Surveyin 2015 and 2017, which contributed to global initiatives aimed at documenting and protecting coral reef ecosystems. His expertise spans comprehensive ecological assessments, coral reef restoration, and socio-economic integration for sustainable development projects.

As the Director of Marine Ecosystem Assessments and Restoration at People and Nature Consulting International Dominic provides tailored solutions for governments, NGOs, and private organizations, ensuring their conservation initiatives align with the latest scientific best practices. His work includes conducting field assessments, restoration planning, and leading workshops that empower local communities and project teams to safeguard marine biodiversity.
